• We want to buy The White Swan and turn it into a place where everyone feels welcome and can enjoy music, arts, and fun activities together.​

• To buy the White Swan, we need to raise money. This money will pay for a deposit on a special loan called “social finance.” This loan helps groups like ours buy buildings for the community.​

• We will collect donations from people, apply for grants, and use the loan to fix up the building. Upstairs we’ll make spaces for art and community groups, and the cellar will have areas for making digital art and videos.​

• The pub will make money, and those profits will help us pay back our loan.

• If there is any extra money left, we will use it to help local artists and groups. We want to give young and new artists a chance to shine.​

 

What Will Happen At The White Swan?

• Young artists and musicians can use the space to perform and practise.

• People can come to watch shows, buy a drink, and support local talent.

• It’s not just a pub – it’s a safe, friendly place for everyone. We want football fans, music lovers, and all neighbours to meet here.

 

Why Is This Important?

• In our area, many families have little money, and many children grow up with few chances to do arts or music. More than half of kids here live in poverty, which means they often miss out.​

• If we work together, we can help make things better for everyone – especially young people who want to be creative and try new things.

• The White Swan can be the place where the next big singer or artist starts their journey!
